Six Part Assignment

 

Six-part semester long project assignment:

 

Research and Analysis (part I)

Research topics:

1.     Your topic

2.     Historic

3.     Competitor/similar efforts, services, products, expressive pieces, performancesÉ

4.     Audience including stylistics preferences, visual vocabulary, cultural background

5.     News Media including print, broadcast, on-line

6.     Form e.g. websites, video productions, promotional campaigns, performances etcÉ

7.     Style relevant to your topic and to your medium

 

For each research source:

á       Why the source is relevant. Why you picked the source.

á       Paragraph analysis of the source material

á       Conclusion of why the source is relevant to your project

 

Research sources must include at least:

1.     The client – if appropriate

2.     Three books

3.     Five periodicals

4.     Twelve websites

5.     Interview of an expert on the topic – professional or in academia

6.     Conduct informal opinion survey of five individuals from potential audience
